After Instagram made the idiotic mistake of telling users that it could sell their photos to advertisers, I began looking for an alternative. One of the apps/services I came across was Via.Me, by RadiumOne. Via.me is Instagram meets Pinterest meets, in their own words, “storyboard.” Not only do you get photo filters and social networking sharing, you can also share videos and audio clips. If you want to add some bling to your sharings, Via.me offers stickers and scenic overlays. Despite Instagram’s retraction of their TOS, I have decided to stay with via.me.

- Sony Electronics: I’m a huge Sony fan and their detailed explanations of their photos are like mini-blog posts.
- PopChips: seriously, PopChips has this social media thing down! They share a variety of images and are really leverage their partnership with Katy Perry.
- Noshtopia: all about healthy eating. Their food-photos and recipes links are interesting and inspiring.
