Google and Intuit partner to get Pennsylvania businesses online for FREE

At present, roughly 63% of small businesses do not have a website….

No, I am not joking. Many small businesses are too afraid to venture into online marketing as it can be a bit overwhelming. But Pennsylvania businesses are one step closer to joining Google in their quest to take over the world!  Google is partnering with Intuit to provide its popular Intuit Websites offerings for free including an easy-to-build website, a customized domain name and web-hosting for one year.

According to a statement released by Google, the Pennsylania Get Your Business Online initiative ” is designed to drive economic growth by giving Pennsylvania businesses the tools and resources to establish a website, find new customers, and grow their business.”  With America’s economy and small businesses struggling, reaching out to new customers is a must. And if a business is not online,  they are cut off from potential consumers and will have tougher time competing with bigger and more established chains. It’s imperative that business owners take advantage of this opportunity.

Interestingly enough, Pennsylvania is not the only state to benefit from Google’s Get Your Business Online program. Businesses in California, New York, and Connecticut can also take advantage of this great opportunity. Make sure that you head over there and check it out!
